The Bourne Ultimatum is a 2007 film based loosely on Robert Ludlum's best-selling novel of the same name. Matt Damon stars once again as Ludlum's signature character, amnesia-suffering assassin Jason Bourne. Julia Stiles, David Strathairn, Scott Glenn, Paddy Considine, Edgar Ramirez, Albert Finney, and Joan Allen co-star. Paul Greengrass directed the film from a script by Tony Gilroy, George Nolfi and Tom Stoppard who went uncredited.

The NeXT Computer used by Tim Berners-Lee at CERN became the world's first Web server.

By mid-1986, it was clear that no existing operating system (OS) would be able to meet their tentative specification for an object-oriented programming environment and user interface. This forced a major change in the business plan: not only would NeXT create an object-oriented programming environment, they would need to build hardware and a Unix-like Mach-based OS for the toolkit to run on. A team led by Avie Tevanian, one of the Mach engineers at Carnegie Mellon University who had since joined the company, were to develop the operating system, whilst the hardware division led by Rich Page, one of the cofounders who had previously led the Apple Lisa team, were to develop and design the hardware. The name of the company was changed to NeXT Computer, Inc..

The NeXT Computer was slower than many Unix workstations becoming available at that time, but cost about half as much[citation needed]. It included 8 MB of random access memory (RAM), a 256 MB MO drive, Ethernet, NuBus and a 17-inch MegaPixel grayscale display measuring 1120×832 pixels. Meanwhile, a typical PC included 640 KiB of RAM, the 8086, 8088, 286 or 386 CPU, a 640×350 16-color or 720×348 monochrome display, a 10 to 20 megabyte hard drive and no networking capabilities.

This NeXTcube was used by Berners-Lee at CERN and became the first Web server.

It has one x8 series GPU and it will sell for $1499.

Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898-1972) is one of the world's most famous graphic artists. His art is enjoyed by millions of people all over the world, as can be seen on the many web sites on the internet.

He is most famous for his so-called impossible structures, such as Ascending and Descending, Relativity, his Transformation Prints, such as Metamorphosis I, Metamorphosis II and Metamorphosis III, Sky & Water I or Reptiles.

M.C. Escher, during his lifetime, made 448 lithographs, woodcuts and wood engravings and over 2000 drawings and sketches. Like some of his famous predecessors, - Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Dürer and Holbein-, M.C. Escher was left-handed.

Formula One, abbreviated to F1, and also known as Grand Prix racing, is the highest class of auto racing defined by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), motor sport's world governing body. The "formula" in the name is a set of rules which all participants and cars must meet. The F1 world championship season consists of a series of races, known as Grands Prix, held usually on purpose-built circuits, and in a few cases on closed city streets. The results of each race are combined to determine two annual World Championships, one for drivers and one for constructors.



It is a massive television event, with millions of people watching each race in 200 countries. The cars race at high speeds, often greater than 320 km/h (200 mph) and are capable of pulling up to 6 g in some corners. The performance of the cars is highly dependent on electronics, aerodynamics, suspension and tyres. The formula has seen many evolutions and changes through the history of the sport.

General relativity (GR) (aka general theory of relativity (GTR)) is the geometrical theory of gravitation published by Albert Einstein in 1915/16.It unifies special relativity, Newton's law of universal gravitation, and the insight that gravitational acceleration can be described by the curvature of space and time. General relativity further calls for the curvature of space-time to be produced by the mass-energy and momentum content of the matter in space-time. General relativity is distinguished from other metric theories of gravitation by its use of the Einstein field equations to relate space-time content and space-time curvature.

General relativity is currently the most successful gravitational theory, being almost universally accepted and well-supported by observations. The first success of general relativity was in explaining the anomalous perihelion precession of Mercury. Then in 1919, Sir Arthur Eddington announced that observations of stars near the eclipsed Sun confirmed general relativity's prediction that massive objects bend light. Since then, many other observations and experiments have confirmed many of the predictions of general relativity, including gravitational time dilation, the gravitational redshift of light, signal delay, and gravitational radiation. In addition, numerous observations are interpreted as confirming one of general relativity's most mysterious and exotic predictions, the existence of black holes.



In spite of its overwhelming success, there is discomfort with general relativity in the scientific community due to its being incompatible with quantum mechanics and the reachable singularities of black holes (at which the mathematics of general relativity breaks down). Because of this, numerous other theories have been proposed as alternatives to general relativity. An early and still-popular class of modifications is Brans-Dicke theory, which, although not solving the problems of singularities and quantum gravity, appeared to have observational support in the 1960s. However, those observations have since been refuted and modern measurements indicate that any Brans-Dicke type of deviation from general relativity must be very small if it exists at all.

Network Attached Storage (NAS)

Network-attached storage (NAS) is a file-level data storage connected to a computer network providing data access to heterogeneous network clients.

NAS hardware is similar to the traditional file server equipped with direct attached storage, however it differs considerably on the software side. The operating system and other software on the NAS unit provides only the functionality of data storage, data access and the management of these functionalities.

NAS systems usually contain one or more hard disks, often arranged into logical, redundant storage containers or RAIDs (redundant arrays of independent disks), as do traditional file servers. NAS removes the responsibility of file serving from other servers on the network.

NAS is useful for more than just general centralized storage provided to client computers in environments with large amounts of data. NAS can enable simpler and lower cost systems such as load-balancing and fault-tolerant email and web server systems by providing storage services. The potential emerging market for NAS is the consumer market where there is a large amount of multi-media data.
